What is our strategy to advance wound care products in competition to less expensive wound dressings?
There are three things that are part of our strategy: 1) Our products are often superior to those of our competitors. For example, Sorbact is superior to silver dressings because of its mode of action. Sorbion is the better product for exudate management compared to other super-absorbent dressings or foam dressings. 2) We do not just sell products. If we want to reduce our business to taking orders and delivering, we don’t need a sales force. Through our sales experts we provide additional advice to our customers. This means that we provide advice on treatment, the right choice of product and how to comply with mandatory guidelines. 3) Finally, we provide evidence for our products. This gives our customers the confidence to provide the best therapy for their patients.
