How many bacteria can bind Sorbact®?

In vitro studies have shown that Sorbact is able to continuously bind bacteria over time, even when more and more bacteria is added to the dressing (see publication by Husmark et al 2022, Figure 4). It is not possible to provide a number generated in vitro that has any relevance to the clinical situation, since the wound environment and number of bacteria present will affect the outcome.
