The combination of topical antibiotics and Leukomed Sorbact is not feasible. As reported in scientific publications, topical antibiotic cream is not as effective and carries a high risk of antimicrobial resistance. As proven by Stanirowski in 2016 and 2019, Leukomed Sorbact is highly effective and does not create the risk of resistance. It is also important to remember that you should keep the dressing on the surgical wound for a while. This reduces the risk of bacterial contamination when changing the dressing or manipulating the wound.
