There are a number of patents around Sorbact. As always, companies try to protect their innovations with patents and make it as difficult as possible for competitors to copy them. Some patents have already expired, others are still valid. As a result, we need to gain market share quickly. Customers who are satisfied with Sorbact are unlikely to switch. In addition, we always refer to the Sorbact technology instead of calling it DACC or DACC technology. This makes it much harder for competitors to take advantage of us.
