Can Cutimed Sorbact be used on infected wounds?

Cutimed® Sorbact® can be used for management of clean, contaminated, colonized or infected wounds and is clinically proven in several clinical studies to reduce bioburden. If spreading infection to the surrounding tissue or at systemic infection, it does not replace the need for systemic antibiotic but can be combined.
