There is no rule. Wounds are so different. Especially chronic wounds vary so much. The average healing time for DFUs is 112 days, while VLUs can take up to 6 months (the literature gives different healing times). Even the healing time of diabetic foot ulcers varies: neuropathic DFUs, the average healing time is about 77.7 days; neuroischemic DFUs, the average healing time is about 123.4 days).
